Tracey Daly

Tracey is going on her third year at the EDC, currently working on building the Rhode Island Army National Guard’s constantly growing, GIS Enterprise database.  Working on all aspects of the project, she collects GPS, creates maps, ensures that all data is complaint with military standards and also works with third party companies, hired to do additional environmental work.  In the past Tracey has worked on projects for the Rhode Island Emergency Agency creating evacuation route and shelter maps and has also worked for the National Park Service creating GIS data and maps for an Invasive Plant Species project conducted in the Boston Harbor Islands.

Tracey’s love of GIS started here at the University of Rhode Island while receiving her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Management. She developed many skills while taking several GIS classes with Dr. Peter August.

For recreation Tracey enjoys bike riding, hiking, skateboarding, hanging out with friends, horror movies and office pranks.
