Roland Duhaime
Research Associate IV

Roland has been a member of the Environmental Data Center since 1991. During this time he has been providing project support in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Global Positioning Systems (GPS). He pioneered serving the Rhode Island GIS (RIGIS) database and Rhode Island GPS data over the Internet. Through the University of Rhode Island, he is partnering with Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary and the National Park Service to help with GIS applications. Roland enjoys using his knowledge of programming in the field of GIS.  In his spare time, he can routinely be found developing software to automate complex processes.  In addition he likes working with 3D applications and spatial data.
