URI's Environmental Data Center

Mike Bradley
Research Associate III

Mike received his Bachelors degree in Biology from the University of New Mexico and his Masters Degree in Soil Science at the university of Rhode island, before coming to the Environmental Data Center where he is a GIS Analyst. Over the past few of years he has worked on a number of natural resource mapping projects with the USGS, National Park Service, USDA-NRCS, and the RI Army National Guard. He presently serves as the MapCoast Partnership Coordinator, a consortium of URI researchers and State and federal agencies dedicated to mapping shallow-subtidal estuarine habitats and subaqueous soils. Before URI, he worked at the New Mexico Natural Heritage Program where he was involved in a multi-year project to classify and describe the riparian and wetland communities of the State.

In his spare time Mike enjoys the outdoors, playing Ultimate, and agonizing over his beloved UNM Lobo basketball team. When he's not doing these things, Mike can be found at the Oak Hill Tavern.
