Erik has been working at the Environmental Data Center as an employee of the Rhode Island Natural History Survey (RINHS) since June of 2004. He designed, and currently manages the Biota of Rhode Island Information System, a GIS-assisted database containing information on the state's flora, fauna. Erik received his B.S. and M.S. from URI's Department of Natural Resources Management, specializing in species-habitat relationships and GIS.
