Christopher Damon

Christopher received a M.A in Marine Affairs from the University of Rhode Island, and a B.S. in Marine Science from Coastal Carolina University. Since 1997 he has worked as a GIS project coordinator for the EDC.
During his time at the EDC, his focus has been on developing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to address coastal and marine resource management issues. Damon has had the opportunity to work on a number of international GIS projects, primarily providing training and technical support to the host countries/institutions. Past project locations include: Chetumal, Mexico; Guayaquil, Ecuador; Cairo, Egypt; Ponta Dada, Azores, and Lagos, Nigeria.
