As a newcomer, I arrived rather late in the evolution of the EDC.  Having already grown out of the original space that was allocated to it in the blue Butler Building, the strength of the group (see http://www.edc.uri.edu/staff/ ) exhibited a collaborative sense of working with the precision of a very well oiled pen plotter.  Since then, the lab has continued to shed it’s skin, surfing on the face of innovation in the Ocean State and beyond, with just enough slack to experiment a few new bottom turns before cutting back into the next wave of Geospatial Technology.
