2006 NBNERR, Save The Bay, and URI 1:12,000 Digital True Color Orthophotography
True color, 1.5-foot (~0.5-meter) spatial resolution orthorectified digital aerial photographs of northeastern Rhode Island flown in Summer 2006 of the Narragansett Bay and Block Island regions. These images were originally collected for use by the Narragansett Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, Save The Bay, and the University of Rhode Island Environmental Data Center to map and delineate shallow-subtidal estuarine habitats, specifically submerged aquatic vegetation.

This shapefile is helpful for GIS users to display where the approximate center of each aerial photograh is, helping to identify which to download.
Three options are available for downloading these images:
1) Download individual tiles using this map.
2) Download images on a municipal basis (download manager friendly).
NOTE: These photos were only flown for a portion of the state. Not all municipalities were flown, and some were only partially addressed.
