Restoration Description: The first year of research will be completed at the GSO. Field releases of seeds and testing of an underwater seeding machine will occur in years two and three. Field sites in Coggeshall Cove and Dutch Island will be used to apply findings from the first years experiments and test the prototype underwater seeding machine. Field test plots will be observed with a three week frequency after seeding to observe grazing losses and seedling success as a function of density and application technique.
