Impacts:  Ponds created by fill excavation for Rt. 24 border the marsh in the northern portion. One of the ponds is completely surrounded by Phragmites. The middle portion of the marsh is filled, with some remaining Phragmites. Gravel and concrete pieces make up the mapped marsh. This portion of the site is adjacent to the old landfill. In the south portion of the marsh there is RV use along the entire perimeter of the marsh on the upland border.
