Impacts:  There is Phragmites along the northern arm of the cove. There are large areas of hardened shoreline. Stormwater discharge occurs off Main Street across from the Mobil station. There is cutting occurring south of Main Street. There are several tidal restrictions: the Brown Street Bridge, the Trolley line, and Library footpath (underwater culvert allows water to flow under the road).

Impacts:  There has been brush dumping on the marsh as well as cutting of high marsh grasses. Phragmites is increasing along the western side of Route 441 and there is fill off Route 102 by the dirt parking area. There are numerous tidal restrictions: #1 is at Hussey Bridge, #2 is at the Trolley causeway, #3 is at Loop Dr., #4 is at Old Loop Dr., #5 is on Phillips St, #6 and #7 are at the railroad causeway, #8 is a stonewall adjacent to TR #7.
