Professor of Water Resources

Ph.D., Michigan State University, 1983

The primary focus of Dr. Gold's research has been the assessment, modeling, and control of nonpoint water quality pollutants. He is interested in the assessment and modeling of watershed processes. Recent studies have been conducted on nitrogen losses to groundwater from rural and suburban land uses, as well as on the role of wetlands and riparian zones in pollution abatement.
