This section will be shown when any amphibious species groups (i.e., sea turtles and pinnipeds) are selected in the Reference Section. Time at-sea refers to the duration of time in days that amphibious animals spend at sea, whereas Time on-land refers to the duration of time in days that amphibious animals spend on land.
- Time At-Sea Minimum
TSL_TimeAtSeaMin(days): The minimum duration that the animal(s) spent continuously in the water(days).
- Time At-Sea Maximum
TSL_TimeAtSeaMax(days): The maximum duration that the animal(s) spent continuously in the water(days).
- Time At-Sea Mean
TSL_TimeAtSeaMean(days): The mean or average duration that the animal(s) spent continuously in the water (days).
- Time At-Sea Median
TSL_TimeAtSeaMedian(days): The middle value in the distribution of the duration at sea (days). If there is an even number of time at-sea values, it is the average of the two middle values.
- Time At-Sea Mode
TSL_TimeAtSeaMode(days): The most common time at-sea value; in the frequency distribution, the time at-sea with the greatest number of frequencies (days).
- Time At-Sea Standard Deviation
TSL_TimeAtSeaStdDev: To express the degree of dispersion in the time at-sea data, the standard deviation (square root of the variance) should be entered (days).
- Time On-Land Minimum
TSL_TimeOnLandMin(days): The minimum duration that the animal(s) spent continuously on land (days).
- Time On-Land Maximum
TSL_TimeOnLandMax(days): The maximum duration that the animal(s) spent continuously on land (days).
- Time On-Land Mean
TSL_TimeOnLandMean(days): The mean or average duration that the animal(s) spent continuously on land (days).
- Time On-Land Median
TSL_TimeOnLandMedian(days): The middle value in the distribution of time spent on land (days). If there is an even number of time on-land values, it is the average of the two middle values.
- Time On-Land Mode
TSL_TimeOnLandMode(days): The most common time on-land value; in the frequency distribution, the time on-land with the greatest number of frequencies (days).
