Coastal parks are at risk from climate change impacts of sea level rise and surge caused by large storms. The goal of our project is to estimate risk at specific locations in northeastern coastal national parks. Our process requires establishing an accurate elevation measurement at sentinel sites and assessing the probability of inundation at these sites using the best available models. The results of this project will be increased knowledge about how the changes in sea level and storm surge will affect important natural and historical resources and how to manage for these conditions.
